Black Star Petroglyph

The herd at Painted Cougar Ranch was started with a young weanling who came to the ranch at 6 months of age. His name is Black Star Petroglyph, a grandson of the famous stallion Hustlers Ole Man, He is incredibly gentle and good natured, wonderful traits for a young and frisky stud. He watches over the herd and can often be seen lingering behind by several hundred yards or standing up on a hill overlooking the grazing mares, as there are also bobcats and coyotes in the area as well as the rare cougar. He is a graceful and athletic guardian of the herd, and his first foal crop was born in the Spring of 2000.
